PediPRN provides crucial support to pediatric care providers, helping them treat children’s mental health needs and connect families with appropriate services.

We are grateful to see that RI MomsPRN has been included in the Department of Health’s proposed FY2027 budget. However, PediPRN was not included, and without this support, PediPRN will be forced to close. We, along with many other organizations and community partners across the state, are deeply concerned about the potential loss of this vital resource.

We are urging Governor McKee to include funding for PediPRN in his proposed budget so the program can remain open and continue serving Rhode Island children. We have submitted a letter outlining these concerns — please read more in the letter.
