DO YOU NEED HELP FINDING VOLUNTEERS?

WE CAN HELP.

Whether you’re looking for someone with a financial background to join your Board,

an IT expert to give you tips to protect your data,

or a team of enthusiastic helpers to pack boxes,

we can help you find them.

Leverage our online Volunteer Center

Alliance members can use our online Volunteer Center to find volunteers for hands-on help, skilled service needs, one-time event support, short-term projects and ongoing assistance.

You can also use the Volunteer Center to simplify your volunteer management and communication with existing volunteers.

Volunteers can search the Volunteer Center each week using their personalized dashboards to learn about newly posted opportunities in their areas of interest.

We promote the Volunteer Center and selected listings in a weekly Providence Journal column, and your volunteer needs will be shared seamlessly on All for Good, the Points of Light network’s national volunteer platform.

Skills-based volunteers and corporate teams

Looking for volunteers with specific professional expertise?

Be sure to include skills-based volunteer needs, as well as Board and committee openings, on your Volunteer Center profile.

Looking for a new Board member?

The Alliance co-hosts a bi-annual Board Matchmaking event with Leadership Rhode Island, Social Enterprise Greenhouse and Papitto Opportunity Connection to help you find new Board members with the skills and backgrounds you need.

Have a question for an expert?

If you have a specific question or challenge you are wrestling with, you can request a free Flash Consult -- a one hour conversation with an expert who can help you think through next steps.

Need a team of helping hands?

If you have a project that would be a great opportunity for a team of corporate volunteers, you can reach out to the Volunteer Engagement team at United Way of Rhode Island.  Alliance members can also post corporate volunteer team requests on the Corporate Volunteer Forum in Alliance HQ, where it can be viewed by volunteer contacts from many local corporations and businesses.
